Russia will present China with two investment projects worth $10 billion

The consideration of two new investment projects totaling $10 billion was carried out by an interdepartmental working group of the Russian part of the secretariat of the intergovernmental Russian-Chinese commission on investment cooperation. On August 20 the press service of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation reports about it. It is specified that during the meeting of the working group, held on August 19 under the chairmanship of the head of the department of analytical support for foreign economic activities of the department Pavel Snisorenko, two large-scale investment projects were considered: the construction of a gas processing complex for the processing of ethnic-containing gas in the area of ​ ​ the village of Ust-Luga in the Leningrad Region and the creation of a Russian-Chinese insurance company. It is also reported that following the discussion, it was decided to submit these projects for discussion with the Chinese side of the secretariat. It is indicated that about 80 participants took part in the meeting, including representatives of federal and regional executive authorities, the Bank of Russia, the state VJeB.RF development corporation and the Russian-Chinese Investment Fund (RCIF), as well as joint Russian-Chinese business from various regions of the Russian Federation. Note, as reported by the news agency, on August 18 it became known that traffic on the cross-border bridge over Amur will be opened for passenger transport only after the completion of the construction of the permanent checkpoint Kani-Kurgan, no earlier than 2022.

Sales of Renault cars increased in Russia
