Sales of Renault cars increased in Russia

According to the results of March 2020, 13,640 cars of the French company Renault were sold on the Russian market by 5% more than a year ago. This is reported by the agency Autostat. From January to March dealers of the French brand sold 32,056 cars in Russia, which exceeds by 9% the indicator of the same period last year. It should be noted that Renault occupies the fourth place on the Russian market, and the share of the brand is 8%. The most popular model of Renault on the Russian market is the cross-over Duster. In March 2020, sales of this car fell by 8%, to 3,268 copies. The second line at the Renault Logan sedan, whose sales last month amounted to 3,066 copies (-14%). Closing the top three hatchback Renault Sandero, whose sales in the first spring month in Russia fell by 2%, to 2,923 units. Closes Kaptur's list with a sales result of 2,363 units (-14%). Earlier it became known that the French company Renault plans to resume the production of cars at its plants in Portugal and Romania after the downtime associated with the coronavirus pandemic.
