The Russian ambassador admitted that citizens detained in Belarus work in private security


Russian citizens detained in Belarus, according to preliminary information, are employees of a private security company (PSC), said Russian ambassador to Minsk Dmitry Mezentsev on July 30. According to information that has yet to be clarified, Russians can be employees of a private security company, according to a comment by a Russian diplomat distributed by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus. Mezentsev added that the PSC signed a contract to provide services for the protection of energy infrastructure, which is located in a third country, and not in Belarus.
