There was a forest fire in the South Korean city of Changwon
On April 30, a wildfire broke out in the South Korean province of Gyeongsan Namdo. This is reported by Yonhap News. PE took place at 18:50 local time on a hill near houses in the area of Yichhan-gu in Changwon. 300 square meters of bamboo forest was destroyed by fire. None of the residents of nearby houses were injured. It is known that two helicopters and 70 members of the fire brigade were involved in fire fighting. The fire was extinguished after 50 minutes. Law enforcement agencies and fire officials are currently investigating the cause of the fire. According to preliminary data, the fire could have been caused by an abandoned cigarette.
