US State Department alarmed by possible cyber attacks in Czech Republic
The US State Department expressed deep concern about information about a possible cyber attack on infrastructure and health facilities in the Czech Republic, the press service of the department reports. It is noted that the United States alarmed the statement of the National Cybersecurity Agency of the Czech Republic about the threat of attacks against the health sector. The United States will never tolerate malicious cyber activity aimed at undermining efforts by the United States and its international partners to protect, aid, and inform society during a global pandemic, the report said. The US State Department also called on other countries not to remain indifferent and condemn any attempt at cyber attacks on civilian infrastructure. While the world is grappling with the COVID-19 pandemic, cyberattacks affecting hospitals and health systems could have fatal consequences, the State Department said.
